As young, experienced and professional musicians it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get them to this exciting stage of their career. Chris launched himself onto the Cairns music scene as a solo artist in 2011 and has since been awarded Cairns Number one artist in both the solo and duo categories for two years running in the Cairns Hit Awards. You may also recognize Chris from the national TV show Australia’s Got Talent, in which he made it to the semifinals. After working in the live music scene for three years, and supporting superstar acts such as Russell Morris, Stan Walker and Powderfinger’s Bernard Fanning just to name a few, Chris has refined his musical and stage presence and brings this experience to present a high energy show with an alternative soul style that can be tailored to suit different audiences and venues.
eventmatch: Hi Chris, would you please introduce yourself to the visitors of our website?
I'm a local Cairns musician who has recently found music in his life. I'm really very lucky and love my music, family and friends so very much.
eventmatch: When was the first time you properly sang on a stage and how did it feel?
I first sang on a stage when I was 9 years old during a street carnival. There were lots of people watching including my dad. I was really, really nervous but after I started singing, the nerves dissipated and I was able to really enjoy myself. I was hooked from there on!
